POA Board elections for Director Positions 3 & 4 will be held at the Annual Meeting of the Maumelle Valley Estates Property Owners Association on Tuesday, March 8th, 6:00pm at the Jess Odom Community Center. Those elected to these positions will serve a term of 3 years. Nominations for these positions concluded February 11th. Two individuals submitted interest in running for one of the two available POA Board positions. Those two candidates can be seen below.
If you are unable to attend the Annual POA meeting on March 8th, you may submit an online absentee vote until 11:59pm on March 5th. Per your POA Bylaws, each property owner is entitled to one vote per lot/property. Joint or co-owners of a lot/property may only cast one vote for that property. Owners of multiple lots/homes in MVE are allowed to cast one vote for each of those properties.
If you cast your vote for a candidate online, and then are in attendance at the Annual POA Meeting, you will be ineligible to cast an in-person vote at the meeting.
Additional nominations of candidates can be taken at the Annual POA Meeting on March 8th, however, those candidates are limited to receiving in-person votes at the meeting by those who have not previously voted online, and obviously do not appear on the online absentee voting ballot.

107 Keystone Lane
My family and I are relatively new residents of MVE. After previously building a home in Sherwood, AR, my wife (Krystin) and I decided to build a home here in July of 2020. Construction was subsequently completed in February of 2021. While our time here has been brief, we have enjoyed our thriving community, and getting to know our neighbors.
Krystin and I have been married for 15 years, and have two children: Emma and Parker. Krystin is a seasoned Mortgage Loan Officer, and Vice President, at Arvest Bank Mortgage Division. Incidentally, I also work for Arvest Bank, as a Multimedia Creative Designer (currently), and have worked there for nearly 18 years.
Over the course of my professional career, I have held various titles, including: Financial Sales Representative, Financial Analyst, Supervisor of Quality Assurance, Assistant Manager of Lending, etc. Additionally, I have volunteered my time and resources to various organizations (charitable and otherwise) over the past 20 years.
Because of my personal and professional backgrounds, I understand the nature/importance of the work that is performed by a Board, and I have a wealth of skills and resources that could, potentially, be valuable to our community. More specifically, I do not want to just live in this wonderful community as an idle bystander—I want to serve it, get involved, and help continue to make it better.

101 Mountain Valley Drive
My family and I have lived at 101 Mountain Valley Dr in Maumelle for 18.5 years. I have been married to my wife Christina (Chris) Patton for 23 years and we share two boys that are 18 and 14. Both boys have attended Maumelle Charter since kindergarten and know no other neighborhood than Maumelle Valley Estates. Both boys have played basketball for Maumelle Charter since 3rd grade and are great athletes. My wife served on the Maumelle Charter School Board as a trustee from May 2013 – May 2017.
My wife and I volunteered many years on the Maumelle Football and Cheer Board while our boys played football from age 4 to 13. They loved those years a lot and I also served as a coach for the football team for 10 years. We loved serving the community through the sport that our boys loved.
I also served as a volunteer firefighter and paramedic from May 2004 through August 2008 under Chief Glenn. Mayor Mike Watson was my captain.
I am also currently the co-owner of Pinnacle Express, LLC trucking company in Little Rock.
I would love to do more for our beautiful community as a director on the board! I would like to ensure that Maumelle Valley Estates remains one of the best-looking subdivisions in Maumelle. You are welcome to look at our house and landscaping anytime to see how much we care about where we live. Living in Maumelle for the past 18.5 years has been a true blessing.
